A few GP appointments are available to be booked in advance by contacting Reception or accessing online appointments. The majority of GP appointments are released daily and you need to contact Reception early in the morning to book a same day appointment. All nursing appointment may be booked in advance. We also have an Evening Surgeries on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Variable until 1930. We also have extended access appointments until 2000 Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday.
Patients are also requested to respect race, gender and disability when dealing with Practice staff. Violent or abusive behaviour may result in being removed from the Practice list.
Contacting A Doctor/Nurse By Telephone
Our clinical staff are always happy to speak to patients to give advice, at appropriate times. It is not possible to interrupt surgery sessions, but if you leave your contact number with Reception together with a brief description of your enquiry, they will ensure the Doctor/nurse receives your message. You will then be contacted as soon as possible.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
Patients are reminded of the need to keep appointments, or cancel with as much notice as possible. Every failure to attend an appointment means that another patient may have needlessly been prevented from seeing a GP that day. If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
